Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum Board
Plaster Board is made up of a special formula of gypsum core which is mixed with glass fibers & fillers. It has greater fire protection that standard gypsum boards. It contains cohesive properties which enhances fire resistance, improves the impact & jointing strength. Its plaster also makes the board less prone to crack or shatter.
Best suited for:
- Dry- lining of walls
- Ceiling of floor
- Fire resistance parts
Aerostone Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum Boards
(GRG) is manufactured with the highest quality standard. They are tested to meet the following specifications & standards.
Confirms to IS 2542 & 2095
Confirms to BS 476 part 4,6 & 7. (for non- combustibility fire Propagation & Surface Spread of Flame Tests respectively)
Building system erected with Aerostone GRG Boards quality to International Standards like AStM (Americal Society for Testing of Materials) E119 & BS (British Standard) 476
In weight GRG boards have about 21% water combined with crystalline state in gypsum. It blocks the passage of heat and retards the passage of fire. The quantity of water is slowly converted into steam. After repelling the fire it dissipates the heat. The fist 120 describes the structural Stability, the period in minutes after failure might occur as the partition may collapse. The second 120 describes the integrity, the period in minutes after, GRG boards have sound resistance properties in comparison to standard Boards. It helps to maintain noise reduction in construction.
